Commissioning & Service Engineers, Marine

Responsibilities:

• Testing and commissioning of Power Generation and Distribution Systems and Drives systems for Ships and Rigs according to the specifications and design requirements
• On-demand, maintenance, upgrade and modernization services according to schedule, contracts and specifications
• Technical support to customers that problems are resolved efficiently to minimize system downtime
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, applying own knowledge and experience. Recommend changes such as new equipment or modified procedures to improve performance and customer satisfaction
• Close team work with the engineering and project departments

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic/ Instrumentation/Control Engineering
• 2-3 Years of experience in Marine industry or Electrical engineering is an advantage, but new graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
• Candidate with more than 5 years relevant working experience will be considered as Senior or Site Manager
• Service and commissioning experience of similar equipment (LV/HV switchboards, drives, electrical machines)
• Knowledge of Electrical AC/DC drives, Automation system would be an added advantage
• Frequent traveling within SEA/Asia-Pacific region
