Quality Engineer (Hot Runner & Mold) - Changi South / Immediate

Responsibilities: 

• To identify quality or service issues.
• Work with internal/external customers and/or suppliers to improve part and component quality as well as develop efficient manufacturing controls and plans, perform quality audit periodically to drive manufacturing excellence.
• Support development of quality assurance strategies, processes, guidelines and control plans which assure quality and reliability as part of the Manufacturing Plans.
• Provide training of advanced quality concepts and tools to team members as required.

Requirements:

• Able to Understand and interpret Machine drawings.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem solving skills - root cause and effect analysis, good understanding and application at quality tools (i.e. 5 Why, 8D, Fishbone, gauge R&R etc.).
• Strong technical background at Mechanical or Injection Molding industry.
• 3-5 years relevant working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: Six Sigma green belt or black belt.

OUR CLIENT OFFERS

- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 days work week - 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Salary range: $3000 - $3800 (Depends on qualification & experiences).
