Workplace Safety and Health
Officer
Responsibilities:
- Ensures workplace safety comply with WSH statutory requirements
- Implement and promote WSH programme
- Ensures all machinery, equipments, appliances or process does not violate safety procedures or regulations
- Conducts regular site safety inspection and follow up actions
- Investigate incidents & recommend corrective actions
- Develops & conduct in-house safety induction courses and trainings for employees & contractors
- Implements risk assessment and controls on site activities
- Performs other duties as and when required by the department head
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or
equivalent.
- Required skill(s): Safety Officer Certificate.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Good understand of the legislation and MOM requirement
- Must be able to work independently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Full-Time positions available.
